Description:
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Highly developed leadership skills with demonstrated executive capabilities and experience in managing the complex coordination and delivery of pre-hospital care within a demanding operational emergency service environment.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues impacting the delivery of ambulance services and the proven ability to understand and apply highly developed business and resource management strategies to support the delivery of quality pre-hospital patient care to the community.
- Demonstrated capabilities and experience in driving, influencing and implementing organisational change and service system reforms in a complex environment, to make the service delivery systems increasingly responsive to the needs of patients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire large, diverse, professional teams, in an environment of competing priorities and needs with limited resources.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills and the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills including a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and trend/output/outcome performance data to drive performance improvement.
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning and the provision of policy advice, particularly district operational policies, standards and service improvement initiatives.
