Description:

EXECUTIVE MANAGER, RISK, OPERATIONAL RESILIENCE

  • Join the Operational and Enterprise risk team as an Executive Manager (Operational Resilience) to provide subject matter expertise, framework development, reporting and oversight covering the operational resilience discipline across the Group. You will find yourself engaging with stakeholders at all levels to make a real, tangible impact on the businesses you support including the development, delivery and implementation of the business resilience strategy across the group. You will also contribute to the delivery of operational resilience requirements as part of the CPS230 program.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Enterprise level operational resilience risk SME advice, insights, oversight, challenge and reporting.
  • Drive standardisation of Group Frameworks and enhance the understanding of operational resilience.
  • Assist in the development and roll out of policies and standards including the revised CPS 230 operational resiliency policy.
  • Perform operational risk and compliance reviews relating to operational resilience across the Enterprise. This will capture controls, obligations and policies.
  • Assist in the CPS 230 obligations roll out, allocation to profiles, control development and oversight as part of Project requirements to enable CPS 230 complianceTaking a direct approach to support the benefits realisation and sustainable outcomes of the change initiatives across CPS 230 through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, training, business readiness and user adoption.

WHAT DO I NEED?

We are looking for exceptional professional with 7 – 10 + years of operational risk experience that must include operational resilience knowledge and experience. Detailed knowledge of CPS230 is also required. You will bring excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience designing, delivering and implementing strategies within large, complex financial services environments and have a track record of delivering strong operational risk outcomes in in the Business Resilience space. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills and excellent professional, commercial and personal judgement. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to operate in a changing environment. This role will see you interacting directly with GM and Executive level stakeholders; therefore, your stakeholder engagement skills will be key to your success.
