About the Role
We are seeking a Permanent, Executive Manager/Senior Strategist: Officer Recruitment based in Eva Burrows College, VIC .
The role exists to contribute to The Salvation Army’s leadership and oversight to the Candidate Recruitment team to ensure the development and delivery of annual leadership recruitment marketing campaigns nationally. Ensure consistent delivery of marketing, training, campaign administration, across all national recruitment functions and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be successful in this role if you can:

Marketing and Communications

  • Design and implement a national 3-year strategic plan and campaign for soldier-ship recruitment and retention.
  • Develop and direct national annual marketing & communications strategy for officers’ recruitment.
  • Build and maintain a strong national relationship network for future leaders.
  • Manage the creation and production of key national resources.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Proactively identify, establish, and build sound networks across TSA at a national, Divisional, Area and Corps level, and work collaboratively with Mission Support Team and Spiritual Life team.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of the strategic impact each annual campaign provides and benefits to TSA.

People Leadership

  • Develop department capability and actively supports employee development; coach and train individuals to manage their career and personal development.
  • Lead and drive change, provide clear direction around performance goals and provide regular feedback on performance outcomes, and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
  • Instill commitment and motivation at both individual and team level; align employee values and behaviours to TSA vision, empower and provide clear direction to achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications in a relevant field (i.e. Bachelor of Marketing, Business Administration, Theology).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams within relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge working in traditional and digital marketing campaign management.
  • Proven experience in engaging with and managing the expectations of stakeholder groups at all levels.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
