Description:

Randstad is currently working with a State Government entity to find an executive office Coordinator for a 3 months contract on full time hybrid basis

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide executive secretarial, administrative, and operational support to the Deputy Secretary to ensure the effective operation and performance of the Office-this includes but is not limited to: Inbox and diary management, event/meeting facilitation and preparation, coordination of activities with internal and external stakeholder
  • Assisting and managing small scale projects
  • Leading the management of the Office to ensure appropriate business processes, workflows and systems that ensure timely product delivery
  • Assessing and prioritising incoming requests and material for importance, relevance, and supporting the Deputy Secretary to manage a complex, impactful and high volume workflow.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships, including managing sensitive matters and influencing and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders and partners at all levels
  • Create and/or review clear and concise, professional internal communications, emails, memoranda, correspondence and other documentation, including sensitive and complex material, as required to a high standard

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience providing high level strategic support to a senior manager or executive team
  • Proficiency in using eBriefings, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and other government systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Project experience

Mandatory

  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa
  • Have a WWCC or willingness to obtain one

Successful candidates will undergo a background and police checks ahead of starting.
