Responsibilities

  1. Business Development
  • Assist Commercial director to identify new opportunities, customers, new ways to reach existing markets, or new products offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets to bring in more revenue.
  • Understand our internal strengths and knowing our customers’ needs to find new business opportunities.
  • Generate leads and cold calling/cold email prospective customers, present our capabilities, to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customers needs and wants, to develop turnkey and packaging project with customers.
  1. Account Management
  • Actively talk with customers through calling, networking, social media and participate in beauty expo & trade show, may also through personal connection to nurture and develop relationships.
  • Need to effectively prospect, manage pipeline, uncover pain, negotiate the close deals with customers.
  • Provide consultative sales approach to our key accounts for helping our existing and potential customers to provide the right solutions.
  • Create a trusted relationship with our existing and potential customers by providing professional insights and industrial expertise that able to address to their problems and needs.
  1. Project Monitoring and Management
  • Gather feedback from customers to share those customer or market intelligent with internal teams.
  • Partner with project manager to develop all projects in the whole process from brief to delivery, to ensure products are of high-quality standards to exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • Proactively lead the sales briefs, and communicate with internal parties (such as marketing, sourcing, design, engineering, manufacturing, quality & etc.) to align and provide their professional support in all customer projects and activities. Success will be measured through increase of sales and profit via new product sales and development projects.
  1. Performance Management
  • Measure performance by set performance goals/target and achieve sales plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, successful selling experience of at least 3-5 years in developing growth strategies and execution plans to increase customer base/ address market in different market segment and product category for further execution.
  • Experience and knowledge in beauty products, background in GWP/premiums, packaging and finished products especially skincare & personal care.
  • An achiever – a winning mindset, able to drive and lead a sales conversation, to create emotional engagement, earn the trust of others.
  • Self-motivated, mature and independent thinker to resolve operational and tactical problems, with proactively to provide sensible solutions.
  • Strong communication and people skills, Presentation and problem-solving skills, Persistence not easy to give up, Willingness to learn and think outside of box to come up new ideas and willing to experiment new ideas.
  • With project management mindset to approach and achieve project goals in the process of project development (start, end, deliverables, person, due dates & etc.).
  • IT fluency, ability to access and use data and information effectively in sales strategies and tactical actions.
  • Bilingual in written and spoken English plus Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), additional Southeast Asian language would be a plus especially Bahasa Melayu or Indonesia.
  • Travel to responsible countries is required.
