REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess minimum Diploma, with 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in high volume collection and secured recovery
- Have knowledge of collections, legal procedures and litigation process
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and be sensitive with numbersHave keen eye for detail, be prompt in follow-up, results oriented, and able to communicate fluently in English
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
- Executive / Senior Executive (Credit Recovery & Collections)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effective and timely collection and recovery of hire purchase instalments
- Resolve customers’ collections matters in a professional and courteous manner
- Review again listing to ensure all overdue accounts / high dollar-value accounts are worked on and delinquency is reduced
- Manage delinquent accounts to minimise their turning into non-performing loans
- Communicate with management regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
- Negotiate with debtors on acceptable repayment arrangements
- Handle disposal of repossessed vehicles and recovery of shortfall after disposal
- Follow up with the company’s solicitors in enforcing lega action against debtors, and with external collecions agencies for debt recovery
- Monitor outgoing vehicle ownership transfers via LTA’s alerts and ensure timely receipt of full settlement before LTA’s final deadlinePerform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Collections department
