Job Description
The Job
You will support the HR Shared Services team and will report to one of the Payroll team lead.

Office Location:

  • 615 Toa Payoh Lorong 4, #07-00 StorHub, Singapore 319516 (till June 2024. Scheduled to move to UBIX in July 2024)
  • UBIX - 25 Ubi Road 4, Singapore 408621

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve payroll and benefits details covering the whole spectrum of payroll, leave and benefits processing
  • Working closely with the outsourced vendor for payroll processing
  • Verify expenses, claims on shift allowance, overtime and other allowances paid via payroll
  • Review monthly payroll, headcount reconciliations & variance analysis
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely and accurate submissions of payroll, CPF, income tax for respective statutory filing within the stipulated deadlines
  • Ensure timely submission of government paid leave applications such as National Service leave, Paternity Leave, Maternity leave, Childcare leave etc.
  • Ensure statutory compliances and liaise with banks, auditors and other regulatory bodies
  • Compile statutory and other statistical information ad hoc reports/surveys as required
  • Manage payroll audit and liaise with internal and external auditor
  • Involve in systems implementation and upgrading
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for corporate level planning, management reporting, and analysis to senior management
  • Any other adhoc responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management/Accounting or any other relevant disciplines
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant payroll administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
  • Good knowledge of personal tax and CPF regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Meticulous and good with numbers. Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules
  • Team player with high level of client focus and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in a Shared Services environment and knowledge of Workday system will be an advantage
