QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE

1) At least 5 years of experience in a management role in managing of safety, health and quality in workplaces.
2) Able to resolve conflicts at work relating to safety and health issues.
3) Able to give clear and concise presentations to management highlighting on critical issues relating to Safety, Security & Quality.
4) Clear understanding of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its regulations.

SKILLS

1) Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
2) Completed Safety and Health Diploma Level C minimally

JOB PURPOSE

1) To uphold the highest standards of safety and quality within the organization.
2) To ensure the well-being and safety of all employees, visitors, and assets within the organization.
3) To proactively identify, mitigate, and prevent workplace hazards, reduce risks, and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
4) To ensure that all quality processes, products, and services meet established internal standards and ISO certification standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

3) To ensure all Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, Legal Registers are reviewed timely by the respective process owners and, updated on the intranet.
4) Be the point of contact and in charge of the ISO certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 55000 and ISO 22000.
5) Assist to coordinate the ISO training for all work premises to ensure the staff are competent during certification audits.
6) Be the DMR for ISO certification for the business unit level.
