Description:
The University of Reading is looking to appoint an Executive Support Officer for EIT Food Learning Services. The University has world-leading expertise in agriculture, food and nutrition and is a founding member and Strategic Partner in EIT Food, the worlds largest and most dynamic food innovation community. The University is a partner in EIT Food Learning Services, a first in its kind pan-European assessment process for professional training programmes and certification for learners. This assessment service provides an internationally recognised mark of excellence in professional education and training programmes within the agrifood system.
As the Executive Support Officer for EIT Food Learning Services, you will be expected to bring your extensive experience of high quality and efficient administrative support, particularly in an education and training and/or customer facing environment to actively contribute to the efficient working of EIT Food Learning services.
Working in a team responsible for the development of non-degree education and training within the Europes agrifood sector, you will work closely with the EIT Food Learning Services Programme Manager (Head Office based in Leuven, Belgium) and the wider EIT Food Education Team who are located across Europe, to support the development and enhancement of professional non-degree education and training within EIT Food.
You will be expected to work with stakeholders from across the EIT Food ecosystem to ensure that the professional education and training activities which are included in the EIT Food course catalogue meet the highest quality standards. These are defined within the EIT Label for non-degree education and training, which meet a genuine sector need and will enhance the success of ventures stemming from education programmes.
