Exit-318 Housing and Placement Specialist (Caddo/Bossier)

This position will be dedicated solely to provide housing, job placement, retention services and employment coaching of participants in the EXIT-318 program. This position works collaboratively with the grant partners and the Reentry Coalition, providing personalized, holistic services, including but not limited to: case management, discharge planning, housing support plans and work readiness training.
Education and/or Experience: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, and Criminal Justice or in a related field preferred. At last one (2) years of experience in housing/job placement, job development or marketing/sales field preferred. Experience and/or desire to work with ex-offenders is required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possess a privately owned vehicle, a valid license and automobile insurance, or must be able to access locations, possibly at a moment’s notice that may not be accessible by public transportation.
Screenings: A background screening and reference checks will be completed as a condition of employment
