JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

This senior-level position with the Clinical Informatics team of the Clinical Operations Group is responsible for strategy and execution of clinical decision support tools, integrated workflow assessments, and optimization support, primarily focused on the MEDITECH Expanse platform. This position is the subject matter expert for solutions that enhance healthcare outcomes and delivery.

EXPERIENCE

  • Hospital clinical experience required
  • Experience with EHRs (MEDITECH MAGIC or Expanse, EPIC, Cerner) required; EHR build and implementation a plus
  • 3-7 years relevant experience, at least 2 years clinical informatics experience a plus
  • RN preferably with EHR informatics experience a plus
  • Hybrid role in Nashville, TN

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare discipline ideal; experience may substitute for education
  • Master’s Degree a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep expertise in Expanse clinical decision support capabilities
  • Partner with leaders, business owners, analysts, project managers and technical solution providers across the Enterprise in the scope and design of clinical decision support
  • Lead in establishing best practices for integrated technologies in support of clinical decision support solutions
  • Apply healthcare knowledge to prioritize and define clinical decision support use cases to implement technical solutions that meet clinical requirements.
  • Support product and field teams in building clinical decision support solutions (e.g. watch boards, surveillance boards, provider rounding list flags)
  • Support product, field and leadership teams with testing and validation of deployed solutions
