Experienced Automotive Apprentice Technician

Parkway Nissan of Stoney Creek is a family-owned and operated dealership. We are a NISSAN retailer in the Greater Hamilton Area and are currently looking for a 2nd/3rd year Apprentice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenances including changing oil, rotating tires, installing tires, and checking fluid levels
• Inspect vehicles and conduct repairs with a licensed technician’s guidance, training, and oversight.
• Complete thorough multi-point inspections and report to the Service Advisor in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, safe work area before, during, and after vehicle servicing
• Tire storage organization
• Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service, communication & problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Punctual, accountable, and dependable
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Valid Class G License with clean Drivers Abstract
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• 1 Yr minimum of work experience in automotive repair & service
• Extensive knowledge of various vehicles and their service needs
