The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Engineering Project Support Analyst (Level 3) to join the Secure Computing Solutions team located in Pleasanton, CA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. As a leader in Anti-Tampering Solutions, the Pleasanton site proliferate products across the defense and commercial markets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of procurement experience in a defense and/or government environment
  • Experience in fast paced environment with a multi-faceted team

TYPICAL EDUCATION:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience, 9 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Develops procurement plans at all levels across functional areas to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints to meet program and/or project requirements.
  • Works closely with procurement agents, program management, engineers, QA, etc to ensure procurement plans are executed and aligned with program requirements and constraints.
  • Provides reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project procurement.
  • Actively identifies, plans, and executes process improvement.
  • Be the point of contact for procurement management for programs.
  • Prepares material and documentation for program needs.
  • Assists with shipping and receiving.
  • Manages inventory.
  • Supports site operations as needed.
  • Self-motivated and takes ownership of work assignments and projects.
