PACIFIC ALPACAS HOMETEX GROUP LIMITED is a New Zealand based company that has inherited a long history of kiwi iconic brand ‘Pacific Alpaca’ and its predecessor’s value and ingenuity. We are focused on marketing and sales both domestically and internationally of NZ locally sourced alpaca fibre made products. Our products are sold across South and North Island in New Zealand as well as 10 retail stores in China. Our online store has recently been added and is trekking robustly.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to the expansion of our footprints in China and the stark increase in online inquiries, we’re looking for an experienced marketing coordinator to join our team in Auckland office and you will be the point of contact for all online marketing initiatives in China to ensure that our products information can reach out to prospective customers in China market timely and effectively, to build a consistent brand voice and digital footprint across all platforms.
This is a permanent full-time role. You will work 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Your remuneration will be commensurate with your experience and qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiar with business etiquette, consumer habits and trend in China.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about apparel, fashion and textile markets.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Experience with social media platforms and social media management tools.
  • Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and reconcile accruals.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a remote team and external business partners.
  • Team player who wants to be a part of a small but growing team

Responsibilities:

  • Research and understand China market needs and strategies, industry needs, products and services, key customers, and competitors.
  • Develop China specific marketing initiatives to support the regional strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the planning, production, and implementation of both online and offline events/campaigns.
  • Create, deploy and monitor brand campaign to maximise the effects of brand awareness, lead generation, lead conversion and product marketing.
  • Create digital contents integrated with brand stories and publish them on Xiaohongshu, Tiktok and other social platforms with a view to promote the company’s brand.
  • Use web and social media analytics platforms to measure success and provide recommendations for optimisation
  • Work with (retail marketing) teams to build local awareness and facilitate the smooth execution of the events/campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with business owners to organise sales leads and develop a report for monitoring, process improvement and attaining business objectives
