Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic Prop 6 Phantom Works team in Hazelwood/ Berkeley, MO or Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 4:

  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
  • Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions and special clauses and agreements
  • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities
  • Leads cross-functional process management activities
  • Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action
  • Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs.

Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 5:

  • All position responsibilities of a level 4 plus the following responsibilities:
  • Leads and oversees the development and deployment of process management plans and activities
  • Establishes strategy for new processes and tools related to the design, planning and deployment of enterprise-wide projects/programs
  • Reviews contractual documents and consults with stakeholders
  • Oversees efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues related to processes
  • Provides guidance on export issues and material transfers
  • Leads and oversees procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 5 years of experience performing data analysis and/or reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Senior Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Experienced Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Senior Level 5: Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
