Experienced Physiotherapist ICU - Band 6
An exciting fixed term opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & motivated physiotherapist to join the ICU and Surgery Physiotherapy team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking to appoint a caring, highly motivated, forward thinking and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the ICU and Surgery team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. The role will be based predominantly on our Intensive Care Unit with an expectation to support the wider ICU/Surgery team on the Surgical Wards. There will also be opportunity to assist our therapy colleagues with in our Recovery after Critical Illness Team.
You will be supported by the Therapy team and participate in the in-service training programme. Regular supervision/appraisal will be conducted.
An on call respiratory service is provided by the department, which you will be expected to take part in, once competencies assessed, and you will be required to participate in the weekend working service on a rostered basis.
