Boeing Global Services (BGS) has a unique and exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Agent to join the Electrical and Mechanical Commodity procurement team in Ridley Park, PA to work with key suppliers to support complex designed assemblies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and sub-contracts
  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • 3+ years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements and FAR-compliant proposals that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.
  • 3+ years of experience with MS Office suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
