Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the Materials Management & Transportation team based out of Coppell, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SAP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in warehouse and/or logistics operations
- Experience working with a computer based inventory management system or warehouse management system
- Experience working with warehouse equipment (including educational and operational training)
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
SUMMARY PAY RANGE: 46,750 -63,250

Responsibilities:
- Oversees incoming/outgoing shipments for identification and damage.
- Coordinates and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
- Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments. Identifies carrier for shipments and coordinates requirements.
- Verifies accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipment.
- Identifies and resolves shipping/receiving discrepancies.
- This position requires high level of SAP knowledge and being able to solve problems independently.
