Responsibilities:

As an emergency vet nurse, you will be involved in triage, hospital case management, surgery, critical nursing and critical case management. Experience exciting case diversity such as GDVs, impalements, hit by cars and in summer ticks, toads and snakes!
Our nurses work 8-10 shifts that cover early mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays. This is a permanent part-time role with rosters set at least four weeks in advance.

About You

  • Minimum of 1-year ECC experience or 3 years GP experience
  • Previous ICU nursing experience (desired)
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
  • Thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and team-work skills
  • Love of learning and continual improvement
  • Reliable mode of transport (essential for shift work)
