We have a rare opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse, who loves surgeries and procedures – this position pays above award.
We pride ourselves on customer experience and have a fast-growing client base due to the high standards of personalised care we provide each patient. Our pet demographic is full of loyal and well insured clients making those difficult conversations very rare. Our experienced practice manager is across the business so you can focus on your love of nursing while supporting the vets and clients.

ABOUT YOU
- Cert IV Veterinary Nurse with at least two years experience post certificate
- Available to work up 30 hours per week - four days x 8-hour shifts
- Looking for above award wages $30 per hours plus superannuation
- Committed to high standards of customer service and clinical care
- Enjoy learning new skills at our free veterinary centre workshops
- May have other interests such as behaviour, nutrition or running puppy preschool
- A genuine, warm and friendly style that enjoys caring for animals as much as we do
- Ezyvet experience desired but not essential

Responsibilities:
What you can expect in this position:
- Assist our Vets with routine examinations
- Surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
- Pre and post operative patient care including grief support to clients
- Prepare and administer medications as required
- Admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases
- Communicate treatment plans to clients
- Blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
- Assist with x-rays and ultrasounds
- Assist with scale and polish of dental patients
- Perform dental x-rays
- Providing the highest standards of patient care
