A Lounge in GRA Port Harcourt is looking to recruit competent and experienced Waitresses

• Minimum Qualification: OND
• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 2 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not always required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Provide menus and make recommendations upon request.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to kitchen staff and bartenders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure orders are accurate and presented well.
• Prepare the dining area for service by cleaning and setting tables.
• Clear and clean tables after customers have finished dining.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Prepare checks and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and ensure proper billing procedures.
• Stay informed about the menu, including daily specials and new items.
• Offer suggestions and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods and provide support as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Escalate issues to management when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
