Expert - Business Intelligence

To provide expert advice in the fields of economics, business, data analytics, planning, and strategy. The role involves transforming data into actionable insights using predictive and analytics solutions, identifying trends, and supporting the organization in making informed business decisions.

Organization Efficiency

• Analyze market data to provide insights that identify industry trends, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
• Conduct periodic economic, statistical, and market research based on business needs, drawing conclusions, analyzing implications, and recommending appropriate actions for implementation.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources (internal and external).
• Utilize statistical tools and techniques to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable and insightful reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Design and implement data models, predictive models, and algorithms to support business decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes, optimize operations, and drive growth.
• Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of the organization’s business intelligence, generating insights and identifying opportunities.
• Lead survey projects, develop and design survey methodologies, supervise fieldwork, ensure satisfactory sample sizes, conduct analysis and reporting final outcomes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various data sources to ensure effective data exchange processes and provision of critical data sets.
• Contribute to strategic plans and other planning and strategic projects by providing advice, expertise, data, research, and studies as needed.
• Provide advice and technical assistance to organizational units in carrying out research, studies, surveys, and data analytics.
• Guide, train, and advise junior team members, and support senior ones.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Skills

• A minimum of 8 years of experience, in research, studies, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• English language required (advanced); Arabic language desired (working knowledge).
• Deep understanding of data management, analytical tools & techniques.
• Strong strategic thinking skills.
• Manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports.
• Descriptive & inferential statistics, problem solving, analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, reporting & presentation.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL. or related tools.

Education

• A minimum of a bachelor’s or any equivalent degree; Economics, Mathematics, Data)
• Any additional certification(s) relevant to the scope of work would be an advantage
