QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• An academic degree in political science, international relations, a scientific field or other relevant area.
• Experience in external relations in an international organization or national organization with international focus.
• Excellent, proven writing skills, knowledge of science writing beneficial.
• Experience in event planning and delivery (in person and virtually); knowledge of virtual facilitation and presentation tools.
• A good understanding of academic research and the impacts of science on society/policy.
• Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and presentation skills, and respect for a multi-cultural environment. Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Dedicated team player with strong networking skills.
• Full fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of other languages of member countries an asset.
• Knowledge of protocol an asset.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel on occasion.
