SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Reliable transport to get yourself to and from work
• A minimum of 1 year’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment is preferable
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have no criminal convictions
• Possess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systems
• Willingness to be able to lend a hand where required and understand that no two days may be the same
• Ideally have a mechanical and technical background with an interest in this field
• Thorough with good attention to detail
• Interested in learning new things
• Physically able
• Willingness to able to commit to the shifts advertised

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to work in our manufacturing department. We are looking for a Machine Operator to work on the night shift (11pm – 7am, Thursday to Sunday) who will be responsible for supporting the Senior Operators in the extrusion department based at our site in Airport Oaks, Auckland. The duties will include cleaning machinery, organizing resin to be ready when required, general cleaning of the department and other duties as and when required. It is essential that the successful candidate has a positive attitude and can pick up technical aspects of the role quickly. This role will give you the opportunity to progress into a Senior Operator and to become a qualified Extrusion Operator over time.
