Our team is in search of an enthusiastic individual to become a part of our night shift crew.
About the role
- Work with Technicians to Set up production lines including tooling and ancillary equipment as delegated by the shift team leader or 2IC to ensure that extruders are run at their optimum working conditions
- Work with Senior staff to Implement and achieve the production plan for the shift which has been set by the TL and master scheduler
- Contribute to the efficient production performance by maintaining the correct process conditions to achieve specified machine speed, uptime and recovery while maintaining a consistent level of quality.
- Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of equipment, systems and people by learning process knowledge and skill. Once trained this will include suggesting improvements to ensure that documentation is promptly updated.
- Learning to troubleshoot process problems as they arise and liaise with supervisor if unable to solve the problem within set time frames.
- Contribute to task specific training for your own personal development along with members in your own team with a continuous review of all plant processes and procedures
- Training to ensure tool changes are conducted in a safe and timely manner and tooling is stored as per company procedures.
About you
- NZC Manufacturing Level 2 Plastics Processing or equivalent (preferable) , 1-2 years Manufacturing experience
- Sound understanding of product/raw material handling and processing.
