Our British curriculum school, International School of Creative Science (ISCS) is looking for creative, passionate and outstanding Classroom Teachers who value professional development opportunities and a good work-life balance. We expect our Teachers to deliver high quality lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring our students. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.
To develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. To facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability, aptitude and cultural difference.
Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for examinations. By linking pupils’ knowledge to earlier learning and developing ways to encourage it further, and challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.
Safer Recruitment Policy
Policies for safer recruitment are aligned with all accrediting bodies including local authorities’ decrees and mandates and The National bodies such as the Department for Education’s “Keeping Children Safe in Education” recommendations, NEASC Safeguarding and Protection Standards of 2016. At Schools of Creative Science, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective practices in relation to child protection and we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to various background checks including, receipt of satisfactory references, proof of relevant qualifications, identification, and police checks, including overseas checks.
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related subjects
Minimum 2 years teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum
With UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS)
Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis and Differentiation for Students
Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
A proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through ensuring high quality teaching and learning.
The ability to use data effectively, to monitor and enhance student progress.
