Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will report to the F&B Manager on various administrative and day to day functions/ duties. You may often be required to travel off-site to various outlets and vendor locations for research work or meetings. Your responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:
- To prepare necessary materials or memorandums for any Food & Beverage R&D meetings/ briefings.
- To partake in leading meetings and prepare minutes of all meetings/ briefings.
- To conduct food tasting sessions and report on any malpractice, irregularity or discrepancy.
- To coordinate and assist Group Kitchen Managers in their development of new or seasonal menu concepts across all existing Sushi-Tei brands (Sushi-Tei SG, Matsukiya, Hokkaido-Ya, Kuroki).
- To work and coordinate with Procurement team to request and check on ingredient pricing/ sourcing for all relevant menu items.
- To work closely with Marketing team to develop marketing promotions or provide hem with necessary information for media launches.
- To liaise with outlet managers for any scheduled media & internal BOD food tasting sessions.
- To generate various reports from Epicor and POS systems for analysis and reporting purposes.
- To calculate and brainstorm on cost and selling price of menu items (COG).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Management/Marketing/Business Strategy/ Food Science or its equivalent professional certification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in F&B is an advantage.
- IT Savvy and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Driven and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and public relations skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
