We are looking for a Facilities Administration Assistant who can provide administrative support to maintain the Council’s commercial land agreements, lease licenses, facilities/buildings, and other property transactions.
In this part-time role, you will utilise your administrative skills and be responsible for, but not limited, to:
- Scheduled maintenance by implementing the Council’s approved building maintenance plan,
- Liaise and follow up with contractors, other Council staff, and the Senior Facilities Officer for reactive maintenance,
- Liaise cleaning and maintenance of Council-owned properties and facilities,
- Coordinate and audit Council leases to make sure they are up to date, and
- Address customer service requests relating to council-owned property/facilities.
YOU WILL NEED:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar administration, property maintenance, and/or facilities position,
- Excellent customer service,
- Microsoft Office suite and database administration competency,
- Experience in small project management would be advantageous,
- The ability to understand and interpret legal documentation such as leases and other property transactions,
- A flexible, positive, can-do attitude with a good sense of humour.
- Organisational skills to manage workload and resources.
- Be prepared to pull your gumboots on and get your hands dirty when required.
