Description:
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Facilities and Equipment Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for providing supervision, training, and coaching to the facilities team with respect to the equipment and building. Experience should include, but not be limited to electrical equipment, conveyor, dock levelers, forklifts, balers, compactors, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, roof, floor, HVAC and racking. The Facilities and Equipment Supervisor will ensure safe operation and maintenance practices, minimizing downtime for all equipment while contributing to the identification and prevention of equipment breakdown.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure Team Members comply with policies and procedures while maintaining high level of morale and a safe work environment.
- Prioritize innovation and communication; actively seek ways to improve warehouse efficiency and cost savings, maintaining open dialogue and collaboration with all Team Members.
- Analyze conditions and provide solutions by identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand the root cause, interpreting schematics and drawings and investigating and repairing electrical and mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives and hydraulics, and conveyors.
- Prioritize and adjust tasks as necessary to ensure business continuity where all on demand work and regular inspections/maintenance of equipment and facilities are held to legislative/manufacturer/industry standard or better.
- Support annual financial planning and tracking for both operating and Capital expenses.
- Collaborate across departments to arrange work, define processes and accountability for all tasks that involve other stakeholders ensuring on time delivery.
- Manage workload using maintenance systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel or CMMS used). Keep accurate files that allow easy access to review with government agencies when required.
- Manage work hours with team to accomplish daily duties and other assignments as assigned inputting and approval of hours into payroll system.
- Maintain any applicable certifications.
