APS 5 - COORDINATOR, FACILITIES AND SECURITY (APS MOBILITY OPPORTUNITY)

    The Library is seeking to fill a non-ongoing Coordinator Facilities and Security (APS5) role in the Facilities and Security section, Property and Sustainability Branch. This vacancy is available for filling from 6 May 2024 to 21 March 2025.

Responsibilities:

As Coordinator, Facilities & Security your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing the primary customer service interface to staff and contractors for all maintenance services and requests.
  • Supporting delivery of operational facilities management, building maintenance and security services and undertaking the delivery of minor maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining currency of facilities and security policies, plans, procedures and guidance material on the Library intranet.
  • Day-to-day coordination of the Library’s maintenance obligations of the Library’s Commonwealth Heritage Listed building, including completing tasks identified in the Conservation Management Plan, Heritage Strategy and oversight of the heritage furniture collection.
  • Managing the Service Hub ticketing system including distribution of tasks, contacting contractors, approvals of Access Pass applications, event request and reporting.
  • Managing the Facilities inbox including monitoring all emails and distributing as required, providing feedback and information, records managing reports.
