YOUR NEW COMPANY

Our client is an educational organisation based all around Victoria. They are currently seeking an experienced individual to join their team and manage service suppliers, security, and policies and processes on an ongoing basis. This position will be based out of Broadmeadows and travel to other sites will be required.
You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with service regulations and standards to create a secure, welcoming, and accessible environment for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

In your new role as Facilities contract manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring the safety, accessibility, and efficient operation of the campus services
  • Identify, record, and monitor risks associated with contracts and work with Operations Risk and Integrity Lead to mitigate risks
  • Manage all supplier contractors for all 10 sites, including cleaning, HVAC, fire and security
  • Provide high level support addressing enquiries and resolving issues as they arise
  • Responsible for Updating and Maintaining Security Assets and System Data
  • Understand the Campus Operations budget and monitor budget performance and ensure all expenditure by the team is in line with the assigned budget
  • Maintain and ensure compliance is met

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a strong background in contract management, security, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of asset management, security protocols, facilities management and accessibility regulations, including compliance with relevant government direction and standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and contractors.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities
  • A driving licence is essential as travel to other sites will be necessary.
  • Valid Police check and Working with Children’s Chec
