REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as Facility Coordinator or Facility Supervisor. Experience in office maintenance and best safety practices.
  • MS Office Proficient (Excel, Power Point, and Word).
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish). Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
    The base pay for this position is $53,300.00 – $106,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

The position of Facilities Coordinator is within our Commercial Offices located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This role manages a variety of projects and assignments for the Facilities function including but not limited to systems and documentation maintenance, compliance, and health and safety initiatives. The person who fills this role must understand facilities management, project management, and/or document control in a commercial office environment, laboratory industry preferred.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops detailed projection of resources required to accomplish maintenance activities. Develops schedules, runs status reports, and follows-up on pending action items.
  • Updates and maintains all required documentation and records for Facilities maintenance and environmental health and safety activities.
  • Provides project management and resource support to address Health and Safety needs. May research and identify external consultants and technical experts as needed.
  • Oversee facilities planning activities for company.
  • Review facilities related contracts and vendor qualifications.
  • Provides input and planning for emergency preparedness related to internal and external threats.
  • Responsible for overseeing a third-party service within a professional setting. Duties include relaying information between supplier and upper management, monitoring supplier’s performance to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Applies standard EHS principles and methodologies to interpret, draw conclusions, and recommend options for defined problems.
