The Retail Facilities team is responsible for the luxury care and upkeep of our retail store spaces in the North America market. We respond quickly to incoming repair requests, while we implement strategies to get ahead of and prepare for tomorrow’s requests. This is a team of agile problem solvers, who are able to pivot quickly, and thrive in uncertain environments. We work hard, and we get things done.
a day in the life: what you’ll do

Facilities Lead is responsible for leading the execution of major repairs, initiatives, and core programs to ensure we maintain safe, comfortable, and luxury experiences for all guests and educators. You will leverage your construction expertise and strong working knowledge of the retail store environment to provide a valuable service to our cross-functional partners, support our internal teams, and drive ongoing improvements to our Repairs & Maintenance program. You are a master of our processes and provide guidance to internal teams to help train or reinforce department standards.

  • Collaborative creation, upkeep, and execution of training plans, and the training of all new team members
  • Leverage mechanical aptitude and prior industry experience to validate troubleshooting and diagnoses performed by on-site technicians
  • Analyze proposals to ensure costs and scope meets the needed repair
  • Work cross-functionally with Store Development, Store Design, Procurement, Ops, and our Store teams to improve processes and identify roadblocks as we continually strive for excellence
  • Generate reporting on key performance metrics and lead discussions with vendors to improve service levels and manage forecasted headwinds
  • On-call, after hours monitoring and support of critical repair requests, as per our after-hours plan
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of all projects within established budgets and service level agreements
  • Execute new maintenance programs and pilots under the guidance of the Senior Manager, and provide regular feedback as programs develop and grow

qualifications

  • Highschool diploma/ GED, IFMA FMP or CFM credentials preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance
  • Intermediate experience in troubleshooting of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing)
  • Versatile with capacity and capabilities to manage multiple projects
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel, Smartsheet, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of retail environment
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, and dependable
  • Open to learning and accessible to all levels of the organization
  • Possess organizational, time management, and trouble-shooting competence
  • Excellent team player, and capability to work independently
  • Superb communication skills - verbal and written
  • Proactive and solution oriented

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
