Clearview Co-op continues to grow, and we are looking to add an additional Facilities Maintenance Technician to our team. This position will serve all our locations throughout Southeastern Manitoba.

You are looking for a career in Retail Operations and:

• You have 1-3 years of Facility Maintenance experience.

Construction experience or experience in refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing is considered an asset. A valid class 5 Driver’s License is a requirement for the position. An acceptable criminal record check will be required from the candidate, if chosen for the position.

Some main duties of the job include:

• Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager
• Facilities Maintenance Technician will conduct the ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding and HVAC systems and equipment, including manual and automatic car wash bays.
• A focus will be on implementing preventative measures to prolong the life of existing and new equipment.

• Be responsible for the overall building and equipment quality control systems.
• Determine best practices for implementing ongoing preventative measures and addressing the reactive and emergent requirements.
• Respond to building deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
