FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a Facilities Technician for our Manufacturing facility in Northern Cross. You will report to the Facilities Manager and become involved in the day to day management of facilities equipment, layout and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Duties will be variable depending on the nature of the projects to be undertaken. These will mainly fall within the areas of facilities management.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of plant equipment.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • Responsible for contractors used in facility projects and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Working in conjunction with the warehouse, manufacturing and dispatch operations to ensure the appropriate equipment, work stations, work environments and general infrastructure are planned and in place.
  • Maintain all required administrative records including, but not limited to, logbooks, work records, maintenance records, contractor visits etc.
  • Support Validation work where required.
  • Responsible for H&S programs and related facilities upgrades.
  • Responsible for machinery records and related SOP.
