Catalyx is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Trade background or Diploma would be an advantage.
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair issues with building systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE :

The ideal candidate will have experience in building systems and equipment with knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain and repair building structures such as doors, windows, and walls.
  • Ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with renovations and construction projects as needed.
