What you’ll bring to the team:
If you’re an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician, then join Warwick Castle and start your greatest adventure! We even provide ongoing training, industry specific qualifications and an apprenticeship for this role.
In this unique role where no two days are ever the same, you’ll be responsible for general facilities and electrical maintenance and repair tasks. Required for the management and maintenance of all assets and infrastructure of Warwick Castle and its accommodation in Knights Village, Tower Suites and a new 60-bedroom hotel! This is a varied role within the small Facilities Maintenance Team who ensure the site is well maintained and presented to high standards for guests visiting 364 days per year.
On a rota basis this position will act as duty technician for the whole business and will be required to react to broad ranging problems that directly affect guest experience and therefore requires a professional, quality, and skilled approach to deliver swift solutions to possible business critical problems.
This is a permanent hourly paid role. Working 5 days out of 7 including regular weekends and bank holidays.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience working in the electrical industry
  • Must hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical
  • Valid UK Driving licence
  • Experience and skills in planning and prioritising your own work
  • Knowledge and experience of basic carpentry and decoration.
  • Willingness to train and gain additional job specific skills
  • IPAF/PASMA desirable but not essential
