Description:
FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Thursday, (7:00am - 5:00pm) (6:00am -4:00pm)
(Some weekend work required for special events/projects)
Salary: 45K Annually
Salary Status: Exempt
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Responsibilities:
- Manages and performs all work related to the general maintenance of HELP buildings.
- Maintains equipment on HELP campus by closely monitoring equipment and completing necessary testing as required. Also maintain accurate records of all maintenance repairs. Performs repairs as needed. This will be completed with the assistance of the Operations Coordinator.
- Maintain housekeeping of maintenance supply storage areas.
- Implements, Trains, and manages the facility work order system (SYSAID).
- Oversees and provides event coordination, ensures proper scheduling of set up and take down for meetings and events.
- Monitors all buildings to ensure building code requirements are met.
- Works with Operations Coordinator, Directors, and Managers to report problems, and solutions. Provides a weekly status update to Chief Operations Officer on any pending projects.
- Supervises all maintenance completed by any outside contractor or vendor.
- Develops and maintain a relationship with all contractors and vendors ensuring efficient facility operations. This will be accomplished with the assistance of the Operations Coordinator.
- Supervises and assigns jobs accordingly to the staff, youth program workers and volunteers.
- Regularly inspects HELP campus with Operations Coordinator for areas of concern and future improvements. This includes the cleanliness and orderly upkeep of the grounds.
- Serves as the primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work. Will work together with Framing Hope Warehouse staff to provide on-call roster for after hours and weekend support.
- Provides Framing Hope Warehouse support during Holiday Programs and major events. This could include driving a truck for pickups and deliveries, loading and unloading trucks, operation of a forklift (only if licensed) and some basic warehouse supervision of staff and volunteers
