Description:
Position Title: Facilities Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Department: Property
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent - Full-time.
Probation Period: 6 months
Location: Dublin - City Centre (on-site)
Salary: To be discussed at interview stages
Ordinary hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.
Occasional overtime may be required to perform the duties of the role
Travel: Occasional Inter-city travel to and from Iconic Office locations may be required as part of the role
Group Companies: Employment with the Company for purposes of this Agreement shall include employment with any subsidiary.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Full Clean Driver’s License
Advantageous to have a technical qualification and/or trade license
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience e.g., maintenance or construction experience.
Experience in building and equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of maintenance planning and schedules.
Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.
Knowledge of building safety regulations and security protocols.
Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
Excellent organizational, communication skills and Ability to work with a team.
Ability to work on own initiative
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The facilities technician will work in one of our new flagship office in Dublin 2. The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver reactive maintenance, assist in capex projects, facilitate client moves, and assist in managing external contractors while onsite. The position will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Manager to deliver the responsibilities and activities as noted in the weekly property meetings.
