FACILITIES TECHNICIAN - LUCIDEON

Are you a hands-on professional with a knack for facilities management? Are you ready to play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operational flow within our sites, with the opportunity to grow with us as we expand our operations?
Join Lucideon as a Facilities Technician, initially based in Penkhull with a transition to our Stone site within approximately one year. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient environment for our team to thrive.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous facilities experience in either SME or large organizations.
  • Proficiency in operating a forklift truck/counterbalance, with external verification of competency.
  • Ability to perform simple on-site repairs safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate goods inward receipts, ensuring proper handling and storage of received items.
  • Manage contractor bookings and inductions, overseeing forms processing for compliance.
  • Create and issue access cards
  • Liaise with external maintenance suppliers, overseeing their activities and carrying out basic repairs on-site where feasible.
  • Conduct routine checks on CCTV cameras to ensure clear visibility, cleaning as necessary.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning, toilet, and kitchen supplies.
  • Conduct water system flushing as required to prevent contamination.
  • Manage waste disposal and ensure cleanliness across the site.
  • Monitor and regulate building temperatures for comfort and efficiency.
  • Perform weekly fire alarm tests.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from staff and visitors, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to site emergencies or occasional security concerns outside of regular hours, as needed.
  • Travel between Lucideon sites or suppliers for necessary supplies or support.
