How you make a difference:
The Facility Administrator is responsible for serving as the chief administrator of a secure sex offender treatment facility, working collaboratively with corporate and local management to develop and achieve facility goals and objectives within the scope defined by the client agency. This role has budgetary responsibility for all facility expenses and is responsible for ensuring compliance with policy direction set forth by the company. The Facility Administrator must possess strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills to effectively manage the facility’s operations and achieve its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Facility Administrator plans, leads, and provides oversight for all aspects of a secure sex offender treatment facility, including administration, security, and treatment programs.
  • This role establishes policies and procedures, develops and maintains relationships with client departments and government agencies, and ensures compliance with statutory requirements.
  • The Facility Administrator delegates authority for staff selection, training, development, and disciplinary action, and ensures that adequate procedures, methods, and techniques are established to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • They analyze financial statements, budget estimates, and statistical reports, and respond on a 24/7 basis to significant unusual occurrences.
  • Finally, the Facility Administrator provides proper safeguards, conducts regular inspections for health, safety, and welfare, and performs other duties as needed to ensure the effective operation of the facility.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Master’s degree in psychology, rehabilitation, social work, human services, and/or hospital administration.

Experience

  • Five (5) years related management experience comparable to an executive staff level role in a psychiatric center or medical facility.
