Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Purpose
- Manage projects related to facilities management such as new construction, fit out of spaces, renovation of existing spaces and major maintenance of existing building infrastructure, office movements
- Develop planning documentation, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, review contract plans/specifications, monitor service performance, provide project reports and maintain documentation
- Manage and monitor all related contracts, including expiration and renewal of contracts
- Track, evaluate and feedback on contractors’ performance; determine amendments if necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintain all facility project budgets
- Support the Head of Facilities Management in the preparation of annual budget planning
- Support in the development of Facilities Management policies and procedures
Key Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in facilities management and/or management of building services, management and planning of FM-related projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management and other related disciplines
- Certificate in Building Safety training will be an advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage
- Good knowledge of health insurance concepts
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications; Knowledge in operating AutoCad
- Experience in fit-out and MEP maintenance works
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge in procurement
- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork
