Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose

  • Manage projects related to facilities management such as new construction, fit out of spaces, renovation of existing spaces and major maintenance of existing building infrastructure, office movements
  • Develop planning documentation, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, review contract plans/specifications, monitor service performance, provide project reports and maintain documentation
  • Manage and monitor all related contracts, including expiration and renewal of contracts
  • Track, evaluate and feedback on contractors’ performance; determine amendments if necessary
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain all facility project budgets
  • Support the Head of Facilities Management in the preparation of annual budget planning
  • Support in the development of Facilities Management policies and procedures

Key Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in facilities management and/or management of building services, management and planning of FM-related projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management and other related disciplines
  • Certificate in Building Safety training will be an advantage

Skills and Competencies

  • Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of health insurance concepts
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications; Knowledge in operating AutoCad
  • Experience in fit-out and MEP maintenance works
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge in procurement
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork
