Description:

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum two years proven experience in the management of aged care/disability service facility
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to management multiple priorities
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the facility, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where clients receive the utmost care and attention. You will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to excellence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including client care, staff management, monitoring budgeting, occupancy and regulatory compliance
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring they are trained, motivated and equipped to provide exceptional care to our clients
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care, safety and cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families and clients to develop individualised care plans and address any concerns or needs
  • Monitor and evaluate client’s satisfaction and quality of care, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance the client experience
  • Manage the facility budget, including occupancy, forecasting expenses, controlling costs and optimising resource allocation to meet financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including NDIS Practice standards
