About the role
Just 2 years ago we opened a new logistic centre in Italy (Milan) covering 15,000 m2. For this location we are looking for a Facility Manager who will have the responsibility to lead the complete facility organization. You are expected to lead the design, planning and execution of the Facility Masterplan, including investments, maintenance and expansion of our site within the financial budgets. In addition you will be responsible for environment, health and safety management.

You will report to and work in close cooperation with the Associate Director Facility Management in the Netherlands.

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate construction processes when applicable, ensuring seamless facility management integration from inception to completion
  • Manage all facility services including inspection, maintenance, cleaning, waste management, security, landscaping, pest control, etc.
  • Maintain regular communication and coordination with the property owner to facilitate smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, fire protection standards, and local rules and regulations
  • Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors

About you

The ideal candidate has proven experience in facility management, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment. He/she has the ability to engage with key (international) stakeholders whilst simultaneously going into operational details and leading the execution of critical Facility actions.

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety protocols, fire protection systems, and local regulations
  • Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment
  • Some building experience
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
