Description:
As a Facility Operations and Energy Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing building HVAC systems, diagnosing and repairing critical infrastructure, and ensuring seamless operations through preventative maintenance and prompt issue resolution—all while providing exceptional customer service and fostering a safe, efficient, and comfortable living environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building HVAC systems, including cooling towers, boilers, chillers, pumps, and controls (DDC).
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance concerns promptly.
- Complete tenant service requests and coordinate additional work with trades.
- Supervise tenant improvement and capital expenditure projects.
- Perform tenant walkthrough inspections, ensuring all deficiencies are resolved.
- Maintain quality control by documenting concerns and reporting to the Property Manager.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on contracts and budget management.
- Order supplies and manage inventory.
- Monitor and update the work order system.
- Respond to maintenance reports and ensure timely completion of work.
- Promote and participate in training programs.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, health, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring a high-quality living experience.
- Communicate effectively with the property management team, contractors, and tenants.
- Be available for on-call duties and willing to work overtime during emergencies.
