The Facility Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical environment of the company’s facilities. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating maintenance and repairs and supporting facility-related projects.

MAIN QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Tech diploma or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management within manufacturing, maintenance or construction industries.
  • Proven experience managing maintenance and building operations.
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Knowledge of D.Lgs n. 81/08 Health & Safety (Testo unico sulla sicurezza).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong working experience with Autocad.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of English.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee routine maintenance tasks and ensure that the building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning optimally.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
  • Program and coordinate regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain efficient building operations and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage the facility’s budget, including tracking expenditures and finding cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of facility operations, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility-related projects, such as renovations or new construction, suppliers coordination and technical specifications development
  • Coordinate project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Technical support in purchasing activities like sourcing and negotiation of suppliers
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Handle facility-related requests from employees, ensuring timely resolution.
