To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Factory Administrator to come and join our team at our Nostell factory in Nostell, WF4 1QH

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Highly numerate and literate with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • High degree of computer literacy with good ability on ALL Microsoft office applications and able to use IT systems effectively
  • Self-starter who is self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work alone and multi task
  • A flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work under pressure, prioritise workload and use own initiative
  • Plenty of team spirit with an enthusiastic attitude and a “One Team” approach to work
  • Excellent level of understanding of English language
  • Full UK driving license desirable

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of JD Edwards, Oracle and other software used by the Company (preferable)

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Factory Manager and the site Functional teams by providing administration to ensure the smooth running of the factory through accurate, timely document completion and filing as well as organising on site meetings and other general clerical duties.

  • Factory payroll administration and liaison with the central Payroll Team.
  • Administration of product orders, dispatch paperwork, goods received, invoices etc.
  • Liaising with new and existing suppliers.
  • Generation of accurate Production reports.
  • Ordering of PPE & all other office supplies along with stock control.
  • Confidential administration and or secretarial support for the Factory Manager and other Functional Managers.
  • Ensure full traceability for ALL documentation.
  • Accurate, up to date training matrices.
  • Control of petty cash, cash sales and banking.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc provisions shopping for things such as tea, coffee, milk, stationery and other items etc. required for site.
  • General reception and telephone duties.
  • Create a culture where the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues is the absolute priority.
  • Ensure all statutory obligations, company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
  • Lead H&S audits across your function and areas of responsibility.
  • Working with Functional Leaders, create, implement and maintain accurate training matrices.
  • Work towards your objectives and your own personal development plan.
  • Ensure all goods in and despatched goods documentation is completed accurately in a timely manner and filed away correctly ensuring full traceability.
  • Provide accurate and timely Production reports when required.
  • Have a CI mind-set that ‘challenges the status quo’ in order to simplify and or improve administrative processes.
  • Work with the Group support teams on factory improvement projects.
  • Manage the annual functional budget, ensuring that all planned spend is correctly costed and in line with budget.
  • Maintain accurate weekly and monthly spending records with full traceability.
