Description:

Purpose Statement: Responsible for troubleshoot and repair defective products, maintain and operate test equipment, monitor test performance and yield information, and provide support to other focus factory personal.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Support continuous improvement activities. Monitor and analysis of test effectiveness (false calls/NFDs) and product failures.
  • Support root cause analysis of both test and product failures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of test equipment and systems.
  • Provide first level support of manufacturing in test related matters.
  • Perform assembly/system level troubleshooting of products to component level.

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Support reactive maintenance/test equipment repair.
  • Support implementation of ECOs.
  • Support test/program acceptance and T&ME calibration.
  • Supports the development of SFTs, ABIs, or other training to support the operation of the equipment by operators or other technicians.
  • Support of Test Engineers.
  • Support of CFTs.
  • Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree is required.
  • 2 years of related experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:

  • Able to support and respond to challenging build schedules (flexibility).
  • Strong diagnostics skills are expected.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate decision making and problem solving.
  • Basic teamwork.

Work Environment:

  • The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
