Major/Essential Functions
Serve as the main contact person with shareholders for continuing professional education to maintain CME and NCPD credit offerings.
Conduct regular program, session, and/or course auditing to maintain up-to-date records of the Office of Faculty Development program activity files.
Maintain continuing professional education speaker, participant, and planning committee documents.
Assist in preparing training material and presenting content at live sessions.
Attend weekly Office of Faculty Development synchronous sessions and support developing and reviewing asynchronous courses.
Assist in designing and developing flyers and educational material for program activities.
Assists the Associate Director and the administrative team in fulfilling faculty development reports, projects, and office maintenance.
May provide support by consolidating all documents and materials for Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) accreditation.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures, and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
Other duties as assigned. Assist in one or more of the following: (a) Supporting meeting logistics, including but not limited to scheduling, agenda preparation, minutes, and other activities requested; (b) quarterly projects; (c) faculty development newsletters; (d) networking activities; (e) and/or Unit Safety Officer duties.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in job related field plus two (2) years responsible related experience.
A combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in planning, managing, and fulfilling continuing professional education requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively and timely (orally and written) with internal and external constituents to manage continuing professional education activities. Skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work activities.
Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with various levels of personnel in the four schools.
Ability to follow procedures and deliver detailed instructions.
Knowledgeable and skilled in developing educational material for activities (flyers, brochures, etc.).
Knowledge of foundational records management theory and practice. Preferred expertise in multimedia software (Adobe Creative Cloud products Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Audition, etc.) and skillful/knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Knowledge of eLearning Authoring Tools (Articulate, Captivate) is a plus.
