We have a fantastic full time and permanent opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Family team. Our team is ranked Band 1 for Family / Matrimonial in Bristol by Chambers and Partners, including one member being named as a Star Individual. Our well-regarded Bristol team are also ranked Tier 1 in the Legal 500 with a focus on our quality work and personable approach.

This Bristol based and hybrid role will provide you with an excellent opportunity you’ll provide high quality administrative support to the family team and work on a varied caseload. You’ll join a supportive and friendly family team, which comprises two Partners, two Senior Associates, an Associate, and a Solicitor. This is a rewarding role that offers:

In this role you will help support the team, handling high quality family law matters to include, injunctions, financial matters, divorce, and children matters; our particular expertise is with professional and high net worth individuals.

Working alongside experienced Family solicitors, you will be involved in:

  • Managing your own caseload from inception to conclusion, exercising professional judgement with regard to established Clarke Wilmott case management system and client protocols.
  • Liaising with clients and taking part in client meetings.
  • Liaising with counsel, the court and third parties on a regular basis.
  • Assisting with casework and case file management.
  • Drafting legal documents (with supervision).
  • Preparing bundles for trial.
  • Assisting with the billing process and client take on
  • Conducting legal research on occasion as requested

Responsibilities:

DAY TO DAY, YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE BY:

Working alongside experienced Family solicitors, you will be involved in:

This role is both a fee-earning role and administrative role as there are administrative aspects to the role required in providing high quality and pro-active support to the Family team.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
